    Our Commitment to Quality

The sun came out at 2pm yesterday at Turton Tower just as I was dedicating our 'Macbeth Speaks' performance to Allison Hodgson who sadly died suddenly in June.  Allison was the Curator and our contact at this beautiful Tudor building and lawns.

Arriving at 8.30am to set up, was wet! Attired in my Raincoat, with hood, I collected logs for the boundary. Some of our actors may remember this process!!!

Sound check with Mark and Alan went well. Music filled the air.

Front of House arrived, drizzly.  All is set to go.

Our valiant audience poured in with picnic trollies, chairs, brollies and  cheery smiles. Brightening!!!

And so it was a wonderful sunshine afternoon of theatre, laughter and chatter in an English Country Garden.  Thank you everyone.

Then Bernadette popped in, lovely.  Dean ☕️🍷                     Dean Taylor Theatre.

The Adventures of Lord Byron. Saturday 6th April. 7pm.

The truth does not always sit easily beside the fascination surrounding the radioactive half-life of Lord Byron. Byron's legacy: The rake's rake, savage, drunken, Heathcliffe on laudenum!

    "Pleasure's a sin and sometimes sin's a pleasure."

But, as the genius poet himself wrote, 'Truth is stranger than fiction' and the truth might suggest he identifies more accurately with failed revolutionaries and humanitarians of Europe and South America than cracked celebrity .
